Michael Sanders (@mike_t_sanders) is the Executive Director of What Works for Children’s Social Care; former Chief Scientist at the Behavioural Insights Team, BIT in the UK, or what was the first official “nudge unit” in government. He’s a Reader in Public Policy at King’s College London and an Associate Fellow at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford. Michael’s new book, Social Butterflies: Reclaiming the Positive Power of Social Networks was published earlier this year. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bristol, and did his posdoctoral studies at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
